Born in 1976. Living in Belgium. Bought my first camera in 2003. Self-taught. Being the bass player in several bands myself, the main focus during the first decade as an amateur photograper was the local music scene. Several trips to Africa over the next few years made me take my first steps into wildlife photography. And then there were kids. Not much time left for anything besides baby/toddler pictures for a while. Confined at home during the first wave of the covid-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020, I started noticing the house sparrows that were living in our garden, so I took my camera and started clicking. That was the spark that lit the fire inside. The love for nature and wildlife photography was born again.
